Meet Emmet

I’m a marketing professional based in Central Virginia, working with small businesses, nonprofits, and local organizations on websites, social media, email marketing, and other marketing needs.

I grew up in Orange County and graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2020 with a double major in marketing and business management. After college, I returned to Central Virginia and continued building a broad marketing background across website development, social media, nonprofit communications, digital campaigns, and other day-to-day marketing work.

Alongside my freelance work, I also work full-time in marketing. That experience has given me the chance to work across a wide range of projects and platforms, with a particular focus on websites, social media, and helping organizations improve how they present themselves online.

When I work with a client, I try to start with what they need rather than pushing services that may not make sense for them. I like to work collaboratively, ask the right questions, and be clear about where I can help. Some projects are larger, like a full website build or ongoing social media management, while others may be smaller updates or one-time projects.

I’m based in Central Virginia and work with both local and remote clients. Much of my work can be handled virtually, but I also understand the value of working with someone who knows the area and the communities they serve.

Community involvement is important to me as well. I serve on the board of the OCHS Alumni & Friends Foundation, supporting an organization focused on giving back to students in the community where I grew up.

Outside of marketing, I’m a big UVA men’s basketball fan and enjoy getting to games whenever I can.
